The Winner Is... Not coming back.

NBC plans to fill repeats of "Hollywood Game Night" for the remainder of the summer TV season. Wish they bring back "Parks & Rec"-ASAP... I love that show.

...which means that Hollywood game night is doing really well. Instead of so many reruns, maybe they should splurge and go two nights a week with all new episodes.

Over saturation to offset other programming failures is the exact reason why game shows in prime time burn out so quickly.

Call me Kreskin, but we will soon add Hollywood Game Night to the list.

Can't wait for "The Million Second Quiz", which happens to be huge major TV event for The year 20-13. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest ("American Idol"), The game show will be played over the next 11 days, starting on September 9th in New York City. I Just signed up to become a contestant on "The Million Second Quiz". Wish me luck...

@Robnoxious: Don't forget Chuck Woolery's "Greed" and "Winning Lines," the vehicle hosted by the late Dick Clark.

Yes Greed,Wipeout the Game Show,Hollywood Squares should come back. Sports versions of Jeopardy and Millionare,Family Fued would be good.

Good luck Troy! I wonder if you have to stay up 24/7 for 11 days straight, answering questions, eating meals, and being tortured...

The networks don't want game shows to be a hit. They've gone to using them for filler in the Summer and holiday seasons and could care less about if they last any time. The last game show to be a long term hit was Deal or No Deal. Hollywood Game Night might be a hit now, but if NBC picks it up again, it will either be as short term filler again, or it will be put in a dead end time slot where it will fail.

I meant the Big 4 OTA networks when I said they don't want game shows to be hits. GSN definitely wants hit game shows on their level.

Actually, Greed was "Prematurely cancelled" and it only aired once a week on a Friday night. They (Fox) should bring that back!
