The Wolf reveals its staff

Steve Waters (of 95SX "Two Girls & A Guy"), Janet Walsh (of every station in Charleston, including WEZL at one time), Rowdy Nites (of Cat Country 107.5) and former Bubba PD Charlie Byrd Lindsey form the morning team, with Lindsey doing news. Middays is Jessica Chandler (also from Cat Country), and afternoons is PD Brian Driver. Evenings are syndicated and overnights will be VT'd by 95SX middayer Greg Pitt.

This lineup starts tomorrow.

Thoughts?

So will Waters be doing both morning shows?

Janet is a sweetheart and I enjoyed working with her a few times in talkradio. I think she'll do fine.

And my girl, Jessica, doing middays! Go, Jess!

It's Cat Country but with a different animal mascot.

Cats and Wolfs and Frogs! Oh My!

Wheres the Lollipop Kids?

Oh, that would prolly be my midget ass.

;)

All the power to them...seen the commercial on TV. Im a rocker myself, but i hope that it works out for 'em. A job and cash during the holidays is always a good thing!

Yea...Jessica going from overnights to middays is great. I met her a while back and she's a good person...exciting change for her I'm sure!

Voicetracking is voicetracking, no matter what time of day it plays....however, that live noon hour should be interesting for her. And Whitney Allen for evenings? Why even bother putting Greg Pitt in overnights when he could VT evenings?

I guess the real question here is: what happens to 95SX? The SX website still promotes "Two Girls and a Guy"...

...and, here's another real question: is having an "old" sounding morning show the best way to complete with the relatively staid WEZL crew? The Wolf can claim it's howling, but that may just be the ol' arthritis kickin' in. In the (admittedly brief) time I have been able to listen, Steve, Janet and Charlie Byrd just sound.....efficient. And kind of old. Haven't heard this guy Rowdy yet, but apparently he is their "stunt guy". Maybe he is the younger member of the crew?

Anyone who's been able to listen longer got an opinion?

Of course, it's still only the first inning, but...
