Jeez, with nearly everyone on this board screaming for a new Country station, the news is still about the past.

About The Wolf...I'm wondering why there are no comments from the 'experts'...all the people who were screaming for a Country competitor.

What more do you want??!! The Buzz died and created more news than when it was alive! I just posted "thank GOD boring Seattle..." below, what do you want a parade?

A new country station WAS predicted some months ago by the way!
Edited by Khafre on 12/01/05 12:44 AM.

Turned it on while coming home from work,

First sound out the speakers, the dulcet melody "this is how we get down - in a hick town!!"

Followed by "Corn bread and porch swings" or some crap like that

Then "Tequila makes her clothes fall off" ....

That was about 3 songs more than I could bear!

Just as I was shutting it off they played some station id that started out sounding very reminiscent of the BUZZ branding and morphed into some boot scootin chaw spittin wolf howlin hair raisin fun lovin country bunch of bullcrap

God how sad. Having at least one FM talk was one of the only things I really liked about Seattle radio

Me personally? No. Like I originally posted, I'm just seeking all the brilliant minds who constantly said that KMPS should be challenged. I'd like to hear what they think about The Wolf and how it's going to fare in Seattle.

If that's okay with you, sir.

Sure it was. KLSY....wait, no KPLZ...wait, it's going to be KQBZ....nope hang on a minute, KJR-FM is flipping.

Truth is, I couldn't care less about predictions about format changes.

If anyone reading this predicted The Buzz to flip to Country, congratulations, do you feel better now? Should we mention your name next to Nikolai Tesla and Guglielmo Marconi to honor your great achievement?

Still tons of talk on FM in Seattle at 94.9! Just no talk of racks and beotches... You can still find that on 93.3 in the morning though.

Have they fixed their audio issues yet?? Their debut consisted of every other song out of phase with missing vocals and lots of mono. Sounds like the same processing from the Buzz... ewww.

Maybe you all should be calling this Seattles THIRD country station.

I never know whether to embrace you or spit in your general direction you magnificent bastard!
