The Wolf

Just wanting to know, how you like the music now? The tweaking has begun.

I'm hearing the "tweaking" too. Smokey's on this afternoon and is very seldom craking the mic. No talking over the ramps either. Sebastian is wasting no time putting his trademarks changes into effect. Has anyone got da boot yet? I'm totally expecting a very different Wolf by the end of next week...if not before.

I've been listening all afternoon on the internet. Personality is gone. Already sounds boring to me. No mention of Amy B with Smokey on. I wonder if she's out? I checked and she's still listed on the website at least for now. I really liked the sound before with intros over records, audience participation, etc. Now it just sounds like it could easily be automated. I know it's early to be down on the Wolf. Maybe things will change for the better but I don't hear it for now.

Looks like I left at a good time. So far it sounds no different than something you'd hear in Ardmore.

I'm not sure I agree with Ardmore, more like Shreveport. ;) But its obvious that its being toned down and not in a good way. The imaging was good, the playlist is what needed a tune up.

I heard Jack & Diane on there today....So that's the Wolf, KZPS, the Bone, Mix, Jack, and how many others that are at least touching the classic rock product????

I live in Los Angeles area and Sebastian screwed up KZLA big time. Initially i think he went up because it was so new but once people listened they left in droves. If indeed he played Jack and Diane on the Wolf today, BIG MISTAKE!!!! He tried that at KZLA and it flopped.

Prediction...2.9....3.2....3.4....then the big exit....3.4...3.0....2.7

Bring on the Eagles :D

Sometimes KLUV.

I fired off an excoriating email about the changes. Sometimes it's better not to hit the "Send" button.

Cumulus screwed up The Bone and now they're in the process of putting the wolf out of it's misery. Smokey is a time and temp jock, maybe he'll survive. He's very natural sounding.

Seems these days the Personalities are being shoved out to make room for the Liner readers. Might as well voice track it.

So far this is turning out just as I had predicted. Liner cards/no personality with a sprinkling of classic rock. Next comes the criticism on this board, expect a whole lot more in the coming weeks. Then to the shock of everyone, when the ratings come out in three months WOLF will be up.

We'll see. The Wolf was a breath of fresh air to a consistent but stale KSCS when Susquehanna flipped the image in 1999. I don't know Sebastian and since I was a lame duck didn't meet with him when he met the staff, either. I won't badmouth the man, but I'm not impressed with the changes he's made.

If he's gonna emasculate the station to this extent they may as well dump Enco, bring in Simian, and automate it.

Duh! There bound to go up from a low of 2.7!!!! KSCS sure isn't giving them a run for their money anyway. I listened some last night. Doesn't sound that much different. Corbin is still on with his stale liners, heard no classic rock. Heard the all night girl struggle through a phone bit. What's new?

KLUV promotes themselves as oldies from the 60's and 70's. That being said, what's up with the 80's songs on their playlist ???

Shh !Robert its a secret 'WoW" factor and you blew it!!!

Shame on you! Just for that you must listen to the Captain and Tenille's Muskrat love for 4 hours followed by 10 hours of minnie Ripperton's "lovin you"plus you have to sing along!

For Jay F. Whoopee. Yes I agree with Laffer, Wolf will go up,but not necessarily by the doings of Sebastian. More likely curiosity, then back down to mediocrity.

Been there done that, and even released my own cover versions album. You'll hear me crooning out other songs from Manilow, Neil Diamond, The Village Gaypeople, Nicolette Larson and many others! Plus if you order now, I'll throw in a free autographed centerfold for the wife and two free tickets to my upcoming concert at Carnegie Hall!

Operators are sleeping by, so DON'T CALL THEM, THEY'LL CALL YOU!!!!!!!
