I think they hired in haste. Not a smart move. Now they're realizing the talent wasn't right. OR, could it be they can't afford the talent? I wonder.
I really would not say the talent was not right. I would say the comment about affording talent would only be an appropriate statement for one person, but not the other two. I think these days good talent can survive on any format... but I also think talent are putting more stock in the environment they work in.
At the end of the day, the fact that someone like Angie Ward has been in the market for 10+ years (she trained me my very first day at WTQR when I was 17) really goes a long way. She could absolutely stink (which she doesn't) and still get great ratings because of the name recognition. The Wolf has a huge problem in that department.
