The worst audio processing in daytime tv

My vote goes to "Ellen". While the show is generally good, they "sweeten" the audience audio to beyond screeching levels. I seriously can't watch this program for more than about 15 minutes before I get an "Ellen headache".

While not daytime, there was a previous thread about Conan sweetening his monologue entrance to well beyond what it would naturally sound like, but Ellen takes it to a higher level, and unlike Conan, keeps it up during the entire show.

Although it was mostly weekend syndication (as opposed to daytime), I often remember WWE sweetening the audio many times. A great example was with a new baby-face (good guy) wrestler they wanted to push (promote). The crowd would be dead for him in person, but on TV it was always the same "cheering", sound level and all. The best single example of sweetening? When their Gobbledy Gooker bird mascot was introduced at the 1990 "WWE Survivor Series" in Hartford. We HATED the climax they had built in a giant egg for weeks. It sounded anything but that a week later when they recapped the show.

The audio wasn't tweaked here though. Maybe they've mellowed with time?

If you hate Ellen's sweetening, don't watch when she does her 12 Days of Giveaways, or when she surprises a viewer at home. Talk about screaming!
I think they sweeten the trash talk shows as well. Jerry Springer, Maury, etc. The audience is screaming and booing and chanting every time I watch it, which has been a long time (thank you Yakima/Tri-Cities stations for not clearing Jerry Springer or Maury!)
