The WWOR website has now yanked the "UPN" off

Just checked. For a bit, the UPN9 logo was still on the website, but as of today the UPN logos have been yanked!

You can still access the site on http://www.upn9.com but I bet it will just be a matter of time where that site will just redirect you to http://www.wwortv.com/

THOUGH, if you go to http://www.newscorp.com/operations/tvstations.html , the official site of News Corporation, the old logos for channel 9 and other O&O's that are UPN affiliates are still there.

If you go to www.upn9.com they still have the UPN logo in the top left corner, but on www.wwortv.com all the UPN logos have been removed.

What's odd is there is nothing that mentions New York on the site. Before it said "Secaucus, New Jersey" below the UPN9 logo. Now that's gone too.

They probably thought it was best to save the legal ID for TV only...<P ID="signature">______________

Update.

The logos are now off the News Corporation website.

Though I did see something rather odd. In the Palisades Mall between the Apple Store and Cheesecake Factory, I saw one of those mall directory kiosks with an ad for the new show "Get This Party Started" and it had the UPN logo next to the channel 9!

Guess this was done too late to change anything.

I wouldn't worry. That show's been yanked already anyway. :p
