The 80's produced a lot of entertainment: Music(that's denied airplay), and both good & bad Movies. I recently viewed an old B-grade horror flick; "Night Of The Living Dead (part)II. In this one the Zombies, which were termed Ghouls then, just wanted to eat you brain, dead or alive, as killing you was the second option, that occurred naturally. After cracking your skull like an Easter egg, they would gorge on what appeared to be a large baked potato, with sour cream; unless they caught a Consultant, and then they would have to settle for the one boiled peanut, found rolling around. In the very beginning, the infection finds its way into a morgue, and a headless cadaver begins to run amuck, bouncing around blindly, like a human pinball.
Today's morning Radio shows are alot like that,....foolishly fumbling around, trying to make 5a-9a work, when Arib truthfully only looks at 6a-10a. Just another following of a Consultant's whim. Both the new hopefuls in this market are of the same slate, leaving the 9am hour helpless to fin for itself, while working the 5am, that Arib won't ever give you credit for. Some Midday workers are shackled to the board for six hours at a time; just to get a paycheck. After a while the quality of their performance starts to slide......and you know it! Ask yourself,.....or create discussion: Why does JB&B slate 6a-10a, and still do?
