The Zone PD out

The Zone has been running on empty for some time. It's too bad a quality AAA couldn't move in. And I don't mean "The Point", more like KFOG. True Adult Alternative.
 
I predicted that the Zone would change format about three months ago on another thread, and I said it would be the Movin format then. And I still think it will be. My Ouija board told me so. That and the friggin predictability of this town and it's radio history. Bye Zone!!! You don't stay sucky in the numbers and live forever, sorry. And I agree with Saleslap about everything he said too. A wise soul is he, or she. I'll miss K.B. though. He's the only entertaining thing on that station, but he's too stifled by Monica and the station's fear of the FCC, so what's the use. Plus, if I have to hear her talk about her husband and their trip to Hawaii one more time I think my ears will explode!!! K.B.'s talents are wasted there. ;D
 
Well his show was good when he had Brooke Davis to bounce off of on Flash. At least in was more topical than it is now.

Format change... maybe. But I still see them being "Hot AC," just a different version of it. They will still call themselfs "The Zone" though. The name "The Zone" is too well known. Kinda like KZAP was. But KZAP didn't try to fix themselfs when the ratings went low, they just quit. The Zone is at least trying to regain what they once had.

But who knows, it may go "Que Buena" by Summer.
 
Where's Carmi Ferrari when they need him? Now THAT would be a lot of fun, both with what you'd hear on the air and what would happen behind the scenes with him and the OM! I'm crossing my fingers for this one.

I couldn't agree more. Garland was the worst PD and sunk that place.
