The Zone

I love it. I like PK even if I don't always agree with him. He doesn't wear "fan" glasses.

So many Titans fans want to keep a guy on the team because he's "good for the community and a good guy" even though he's junk on the field. PK will point that out where some other local guys won't mention it. PK is extremely practical. And funny.

I know he'll still be on the morning show for only a little bit now and that's kind of a downer because those guys are FUNNY.

I agree woth you on Paul Kuharsky. He is one of the FEW Nashville Sports Media members that is not afraid of upsetting anyone associated with the Titans. Just about every other member of the Nashville Sports Media, even a few no longer on the air at the moment, act like they are afraid of losing their Press Creditials if they say anything critical of the Titans, Predators, Vandy or any sporting event associated with Nashville. Paul Kuharsky is one of the few exceptions.

So far PK doesn't seem to be enjoying his new gig. There doesn't seem to be the fire...kinda bland.

Heard him do an hour on Wake Up Zone and he was ALIVE! and all the guys were cutting up as usual. It was FUN.

Then later, same day, PK was.....dull. Still a new gig but the chemistry doesn't seem to be there...yet. Hopefully it will get better.

3HL is getting better in the new slot but sometimes even that show doesn't seem to be what it was during the 12-3 time.

Maybe it's the callers. That's a big part of the shows.

The Zone should add former Titans analyst Pat Ryan to Kuharsky's show. Those may be the only two who are not afraid to have opinions contrary to the "I am a die hard and bleed blue for my Titans" fan. Kuharsky has opinions on most every subject or news story. Once he hits his stride or gets tired of all Titans talk all the time, maybe he will expand his topic base.

Pat Ryan doesn't live in Nashville. He owns a construction company in Knoxville and lives there full time. Not being in Nashville is the reason he was replaced on Titans broadcasts, the team wanted someone who could do radio and public appearances all week/year.

Clay Travis isn't afraid to give his opinion. I think that's why he doesn't get many, if any, interviews from the Titans organization. Jeff Fisher certainly stayed away from him during his last year as coach but he gave interviews to others on the zone.
