Theme or Jingles for Sonny Bloch and Sun Radio Network

I collect sounders and such.

Can anyone provide access or a copy to the theme used by Sonny Bloch when he had the IBN network and the sounders used on the old Sun Radio Network. Not Harder's FTP jingle, but the intro and outro used on the other network shows.

Michael Crose. Hey, I remember you!

Did the garden show. I think you were the guy who told the dude who called asking what would be a good fertilizer to have a more abundant marijuana crop to go to the hardware store, buy a product called Round Up and apply liberally.

Anyhow, no I didn't work for Sun, Peoples or IBN or buy time on any of them. I worked pt for a station that did carry the networks.

I was just reminiscing and those sounders/themes came to mind.

Del, I worked at Sun what seems like EONS ago, I think I have a copy of the sounder ... let me know where to get in touch with you.

Thanks. You have a private message with contact information.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Sonny did go to jail and later was released to go home to Michigan to die of lung cancer.

He in my opinion was a wonderful guy who always had a smile and always had something positave to say. Plus he knew how to creat GREAT radio. I am very sorry for all the bad things that happened. I hope his family is well.

I had heard stories of Sonny when I was working there. I always heard that he was a nice guy who got caught up in a giant mess. I have NO idea of the truth (or for that matter - the lies) and what happened while he was there. Sun was a decent network and had some good people in place to make it fly; Bill Wordino (sp??), Stan Anderson, Karl Moore, etc. There were a LOT of egos in there though, Stan Major, Chuck Adler, etc. There were also some great talk talent - Mort Crowley was a great guy. I was heart-broken when I heard of his passing.

Bill Wardino was a really nice guy, and poor Stan Anderson had his plate full at all times.. I was working for Sun as a production outsourcer and got to work with Charles Adler..he was an amazing talk talent..and then you have the likes of Jack Ellery..and Stan Major..I even have an old old Sun Radio Network demo for advertisers..I will dub it off and post it. What a weird place. It was owned by the Liberty Lobby and some cowboy guy (I think his name was Wild Will Carto) from Texas I think..don't really recall his name..but Mike Serio would remember that..As far back as I can remember it was the original network for 760/WEND "The End" in Tampa..and at one point even David Fowler worked for Sun. I would love to have some of the old sounders etc.

Liberty Lobby info---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Lobby

When I was there they were in the studio space where Jeff Arther Productions was housed near the airport in an office complex..then they moved to another complex near Home Shopping..shortly after that they went "bye bye in the car-car-carto"
