There Goes the Used Jag...

Talent, management, and apparently research. Didn't Levine read up on JR Gach's history before hiring him? I would think ANY radio manager who takes the 2 minutes (if that) it takes to find and read the Wikipedia entry on Gach would be smart enough to steer clear at all costs.

Not to discriminate against people who have bipolar disorder, but broadcasting is one of the jobs where you kinda need to have full control of your mind and your mouth while sitting in front of the microphone. Someone who was fired for using ethnic slurs on-air or having the distinction of being the first person ever to voice a profanity in a radio commercial... ummmmm, not really someone I'd keep at the top of the application stack.

But hey, that's just my point of view. If you don't mind flushing a million down the crapper, you're entitled to your own opinion ;)
