There is a moral to this story kids

There is a rich history of fine broadcasting in this little town we call Syracuse. This is a world wide forum, and there are many of us that dont appreciate "da hate" representing our town. It was the idiotic decisions that were made in the continuing Stern debockle that got me fired up about it. There are a lot of fine broadcasters that dont want to be remembered by some of the things that are said in this forum, or by a mullet named Rhino. But of course, if you say Syracuse and Radio right now to a guy down in New York. If he said anything it would be, oh what a bunch of tools. This will not be the final answer. Please get normal or get off the bus. Quit wrecking us, we work, or have worked hard to produce a good product.<P ID="signature">______________

Mr. NORML

There are also many who don't appreciate being represented by a fringe player who spells poorly and rarely strings together words in coherent sentences. This is one of your better days - so far - except for "dont" instead of "don't", "debockle" instead of "debacle", and various sentence fragments below.

> It was the idiotic decisions that were made in the

So fired up that you continually come on this board and tell everybody that they're destined for pink slips and obscurity. You should know all about that, I guess.

> There are a lot of fine broadcasters that dont want to be

The only "mullet" involved here is in your mirror. Ryno (cq) has never sported that look in Syracuse, or currently in Florida.

If you say "Syracuse" and "radio" to a guy in New York right now, he'd have to Google both terms to even remember the Stern "debockle". Unless, of course, you mentioned it to Stern. Then, he'd say "Thanks for the hype!"

And YOU'RE the arbiter of NORMAL? More like NORML in my estimation.

> Quit wrecking us, we work, or have worked hard to

I'd love to hear an example of the "good product" you've produced. So far, what little we've heard via the web could hardly be described as "good product".

Ms. Jolie thanks you.

<snippage>

It sometimes scares me how much we think alike.

Since you've already written the post I would have written had there been a need to write it, I now find myself with an extra 10 minutes of time before bed.

I also find myself holding the December 2003 issue of Celebrity Skin, featuring a wonderfully comprehensive collection of stills from Angelina Jolie's stunning performance in "Gia". And..what's this on my bedstand? An unopened jar of "Tropic Groove" cocoa butter emulsion?

Life doesn't get much better than this.

Your friend forever,
Biggus Dickus

What will the boys in NY think?

> It sometimes scares me how much we think alike.

It is a little frightening, isn't it?

You're much better at the arcane and abstruse references. Must be your classical education.

All you need now is a towel "person" to clean up afterwards. Know anybody who's unemployed and looking for work? You could always tell them that it could lead to a radio intern position.

Maybe you can hire one of the former Clear Channel Destiny USA employees for towel boy.

Re: HNAWY

Hopefully Not Applying With You. People, all you have to do is read between my posts, and you will agree that this place has no one that can get numbers. Salespeople probably. Im thinking there needs to be more separation between sales and programming in some of these buildings. I can think of a couple of PD/GM combos that dont know how to make it happen. Sales=rats. Programming=morals. The one that can co-ordiate it all best, is the winner. As you can tell, these people think spelling is important to getting people to tune in which represents how far from real we have come with CNY radio. Please become human. Half the people in the building during the Jim O'Brien days couldnt spell. I speak well, thats all that matters, and im telling you. We had a lot more fun, sounded much better, and got way better numbers than a ton of the places i see these days. People like me may make mistakes, but we do wonderful things too. Just like average people, not trying to constantly be perfect. You, respect yourself too much rox. Biggus belongs in a rubber room.

Lets do the same B.S.
Have a nice day!
Biggus Dikkus

....and you call me lame. You must be a democrat.

Now we finally have it out in the open. Here's the man that wants to be your PD/Air Personality.

"there needs to be more separation between sales and programming"

"Sales=rats. Programming=morals."

Priceless. Just the attitude you want when you're trying to build a winning team.

Not to mention his perspicacity in the realities of broadcasting as a business instead of as a self-aggrandizing hobby.

Re: Babble

lemme guess BO, you tried to google "perspicacity", but kept spelling it wrong
tsk...
lol..

Re: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

It would be good to make friends with you and biggus. Difficult when you claim to be making decisions in radio, then cut down every graduating year at East Syracuse by making so much fun about spelling. Please leave the programming up to the pros, and try to put bigger market people at the head of the class.
>>I know what your words mean ruthless (LMAO) the question is do you know that youre talking over your listeners heads with them? If youre on the air or not, be careful. People look very closely. My guess is a lot of people around you think youre a real tool. There are a lot of people, especially business owners in this wartime, that wont throw money at you, thinking of you that way. People talk, especially the ones that sit closest to you. Everyone knows who you are, and the stupid listener in hind sight, over the long run, are making your sales harder and harder.<P ID="signature">______________
