There is hope!

As I am a teacher, I have the opportunity to interact daily with middle schoolers. We do a power-point based project whereas students can choose a historical character, then develop a fictionalized story. This year, several of my students chose the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix! ;D

This is in character with past projects as well. When speaking to the kiddos, it's amazing how many enjoy the Stones and the Doors as well. It's presentation, folks...if we do our job, they'll begin to dig the music!

It doesn't hurt that our school's radio station features syndicated shows that cover the 50s through the 70s, either. I am currently having these kids do the morning weather, so they get to hear this music during and after our recordings.
