there is now a strong "breeze" in bakersfield

Im suprised nobody has noticed it but from rronline:

"Buckley Broadcasting Bakersfield Market Mgr. Steve Darnell tells R&R that Smooth Jazz KSMJ flipped to AC at 2pm today. The station's call letters, positioning statement ("The Breeze") and PD E.J. Tyler remain the same under the new format."

Um, did you not see that coming? KSMJ just took a long time to get there. Saw that a mile away. Lets see.... can bako support 2 Soft AC? Anyone remember
K-lite? I'm sure Buckley will hold well with this format. Huge number or not, this station does bring in some cash....
