Just wanted to announce a new stream for your consideration, enjoyment and/or critique: The Renegade Roadhouse...
It has 70's Southern Rock at its core. But since that genre with a strict definition is pretty small, my friend and I have built on that, adding songs that may have influenced Southern Rock (at least they sounded like they did) and later songs that drew upon the Southern Rock core.
What we ended up with is a playlist that goes back to 50s Rockabilly forward to early 90s Country. It is a little eclectic, and there may be a few train wrecks between songs here and there, except during the mid-day hours 11 AM to 3 PM (CT) where the playlist is strictly sequential. During that time the sequential playlist moves in lyrical and musical themes. The result is something we hope will be pleasing to the ear and provide an excuse to turn up the computer speakers at work (if we don't get blocked by firewalls and such.) Mobile apps that will launch from our music sub-licensor Stream Licensing, LLC are expected to come out some time after the first of the year. (Marvin with Stream Licensing is great to work with by the way
