There's a (red) wolf at Citadel's door

I don't usually cross-post but this really does pertain to both the Providence & CT markets.

Paraphrasing:

Red Wolf Broadcasting has asked the FCC to deny the renewal of licenses of 9 Citadel stations, claiming Citadel has broken a variety of laws. A report claims Citadel enticed family members & friends to file false letters opposing Red Wolf's application for am FM translator in New London, CT because it would interfere with WSKO's listenership in that city.

Red Wolf also claims Citadel unsuccessfully tried to convince an employee to commit perjury by signing a statement supporting the claims. There is additional mention of payola committed by Citadel staffers & 3 instances of FCC tower light violations.
