There's a zillion Red Sox Radio Network Stations But.......

Someone has to talk up "Galaxia 1380", especially since the poor listeners in West Rutland and western Rutland county cannot enjoy a fulltime signal of the area's only AM station. Didn't realize how much this is an inconvenience until I moved into the "null". Let's see 190 miles to Naugatuck's WFNW 1380 and 5 miles to WSYB's site, "Galaxia 1380" throws out 500 watts at night which I'm sure is radiated away from NYC, and WSYB is 1000 watts at night with very tight nulls going west and south, shooting that signal northeast to the Canadian Maritimes and off to Finland. Yep, people in Finland have WSYB reception cards. And the signal winner, south and west of Rutland is.. "Galaxia 1380" !! They even have a website too with English subtitles, while WSYB does not at this time.

WFNW is probably looking to or have to move it's tower array since I'm sure it's on a valuable piece of real estate. The new location may be in set up in a totally different area in the way the signal patterns reach "The Tuck" and mainly to Waterbury.
