Just got back home from a "vacation" to see the in-laws. I haven't spent any real amount of time on the front range for a couple of years. KYGO was as solid as ever and the Ft. Fun stations I checked out all sounded good. The glaring exception to the rule was Alice. I realize their ratings aren't what they were when Frosty, Jamie, and Frank held down mornings but my god that station has gone downhill. We were coming back to Denver from the mountains last Thursday and got to hear whomever was doing afternoons. Not sure if it was Slacker or a fill-in but he went on and on for a good 10-15 minutes about how crappy his day was going.

My wife, who will sit and listen to Kidd Kraddick blather on and on, finally got sick of it and changed the station. It sounded like market #222, not #22.

If that's all it takes to do afternoons in Denver then hell maybe I should put together an aircheck tape.
