There's really no point of this post, but anyway... just thought I'd say that I was up in the Covington area this morning and was able to hear 94.1 WZBQ ...CHR station out of Carrollton, AL... http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=WZBQ&service=FM&status=L&hours=U

We have had good tropo the past several mornings. Houston TX was in like a local one morning and the next morning the Florida Panhandle and Alabama were even tearing up the local signals in town.

scroll down to the bottom and look at Thursday and you will see the index very high around Houston and Friday its S. Alabama, Mississippi, and the Panhandle of Florida.

for today you can see a strong pocket west of Columbus Ms which probably is what brought ZBQ to the area.

It seems to be setting up again. Early signs show that tomorrow's opening -- if it actually happens -- will favor the SW. Houston, New Orleans, Dallas, etc., would be possible.

This morning on my way to work from Olive Branch to Collierville I picked up WSYE 93.3 out of Tupelo. It was clear and strong.

Maybe the rain washing the pollen out of the air has more benefits than just for my nose....
