THESE ARE SAD TIMES WE LIVE IN

Cumulus notified all its part time staff nationwide that effective April 1, they will be compensated at the minimum wage figure of $7.15 per hour. If they choose to stay on. You can probably make more flipping burgers at McDonald's.

Minimum wage, minimum effort.

America is the only country in the world where corporations are so short sighted that they, without hesitation, throw away their most expensive asset....their employees.

In Europe and Japan, corporations are both slower to hire AND fire. If you're going to invest so much money in training......oh, what's the use.

Sadly that's what makes American investments attractive to foreigners. They like the fact the American businesses don't ride out the bad times with their workers. Who cares about those foreigners anyway. Oh wait... that's us.
