They preempted that for this?

I'm sure there's been numerous preemptions and interruptions on all of the big 4 stations except FOX 4 here in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex during the last few days from the major cold snap and winter storms on Sunday night/Monday morning and Tuesday night/Wednesday morning. i know KXAS NBC 5 extended the 10 PM News and prempted the "Tonight Show staring Jimmy Fallon" and join in progress when it ended at 11 PM.

Gray affiliates including WBTV preempted primetime for a live Circle “Feeding the Kids” Opry concert from 9-10pm. Normally WBTV reairs “Opry.” at 11:35. Circle usually airs it at 8. It preempted a repeat of “FBI Most Wanted.” on CBS affiliates and a repeat of “Weakest Link” on NBC affiliates. Not sure if WBTV aired the FBI repeat in late night or not, as it didn’t show up on TV grids. And I am assuming that Fox and ABC stations stayed with the fight and NBA basketball and aired the special concert later.

forgot to post yesterday that in North Dakota there were 2 major pre-emptions due to local sports

on all NBC in North Dakota (KVLY/KFYR/KMOT/KQCD/KUMV) they had North Dakota State football starting at 11am pregame. Game ran from noon-3:30 or so. pre-empted was gymnastics at 11:30am and PGA tour was JIP'd

ABC stations (WDAY/WDAZ/KBMY/KMCY) carried the finals of ND high school hockey. Girls game was at 4 and boys at 7.
pre-empted was national news at 5:30. Local news at 6, and the NBC game was shown on WDAY/Z 'Xtra (-3 on OTA stations and on cable). Luckily its carried in HD

WBTV preempted repeats of Bob Hearts Abishola and The Unicorn for a COVID special following the Mountain West tournament final. The repeats aired at 1:05 and 1:35 am.

The President will air a Primetime address. Note the network pre-emptions seen here affect EST given that here in California Local News would air during the Biden Address.
Young Sheldon, B Positive and Mom were pushed back 30 minutes but the new Unicorn episode was postponed to next week. Fox said they were pushing back Hell’s Kitchen, Call Me Kat and Last Man Standing only 15 minutes but it ended up being about 30 which threw my recordings off but I figured that would be the case so I recorded the WJZY 10pm news to get the end of Last Man Standing. I think NBC and ABC just pushed everything back 30 minutes.

In Greensboro NC "Jeopardy" could not be shown at its normal time on its normal channel last night and I noticed that there is no CBS programming on Monday night so the same thing could be happening.

I have WCNC.
