They preempted that for this?

The game MUST be shown locally OTA. Same rules as has been since cable started carrying the games (back in 1987)

9/30 TNF: JAX-CIN (8:20 PM NFLN)
JAX: WFOX (FOX)
CIN: WLWT (NBC)

10/4 MNF: LV-LAC (8:15 PM ESPN)
LV: KSNV (NBC)
LAC: KABC (ABC)

10/10 NYJ-ATL (9:30 AM NFLN)
NYJ: WNBC (NBC)
ATL: WSB (ABC)

10/11 IND-BAL (8:15 PM ESPN)
IND: WISH (CW)
BAL: WBAL (NBC)
Thank you so much for this. I was wondering about what station in Jacksonville aired the game.

This was not mentioned, but WLWT aired last night's Thursday Night Football game. I'm pretty sure the NBC programming that aired last night moved to the MeTV Subchannel.

Can anyone tell me if any stations in Jacksonville aired the game too? Because nobody mentioned it in this thread.
Schedule records show Law and Order shows were not moved to MeTV last Thursday in Cincinnati, but to overnight on WLWT from 1:35am-to 4:35am, canceling out Early Today and a late start to the local Morning Newscast

Just to document: A look back at the Erica Parsons case on WSOC-TV on October 29. I assume "Shark Tank" was a rerun since the World Series was on.

Erica Parsons was a little girl who was missing for a long time and then her adoptive parents, who had mistreated her for years, admitted to killing her. It was a big story around here.

The networks (PBS included) are leaving it up to the individual stations to carry Colin Powell's memorial service. Of the stations I have access to, most CBS and ABC stations are carrying it.

NBC: WNBC is staying with Days Of Our Lives. WGAL in Lancaster, PA has the NBC News Coverage, as does WCAU in Philadelphia. WBRE in Wilkes Barre is staying with the Scheduled 700 Club.

WNEP ABC in Scranton PA directed its viewers to WNEP2 for the first hour, and they plan the JIP at 10am Eastern (Daily Blast Live must be a money maker)

The only FOX station I've seen pre-empting their shows is WTXF in Philadelphia. None of the PBS Stations I've checked seem to want to ditch PBS Kids for the Memorial.

Atlanta: WSB (ABC) and WGCL (CBS) were the first two stations to go live on covering the Atlanta Braves World Series parade, both starting at 11 AM and bumping The View and The Price is Right. WXIA (NBC) went live at 11:30 and WAGA (Fox) joined at 12. Local, syndicated and network fare was bumped until the parade's conclusion.

So that’s what aired on WSOC that night. They aired Shark Tank the following Sunday afternoon the 31st at 5:00. My grandpa was flipping channels at his house and I noticed it.

On November 14 the Panthers had the late game, and the listings showed "Bob's Burgers". That show was joined in progress after something nobody could have predicted: the 4-5 Panthers not only beat the 8-1 Cardinals IN ARIZONA but beat them badly.

Cam is back!

Charlotte's Thanksgiving parade was at night this year. At the two-hour mark it showed no signs of being over, and a crawl went across the screen saying "Survivor" would follow. I only added thirty minutes to what we had been told would last two hours so i don't know whether WBTV showed all of it. I'm surprised anything was new on the night before.

well yesterday and today's syndicated programs got thrown in a blender due to sports. Since all the stations here (KEYC CBS & FOX and KMNF NBC & CW) are owned by Gray they can mix and match shows on different networks. Looks like they dropped some of the 2nd episodes of a particular syndicated show

They showed Survivor in its entirety but joined the other shows in progress.

(Well they were supposed to but accidentally joined it in progress and then stopped it and then restarted it from the beginning).

WSOC didn’t air its 7pm news on WAXN on Thursday or Friday and shortened its 10pm news to 30 minutes both nights. WAXN aired Justice Rules at 7pm and 7:30 on Thursday and holiday specials at 7pm Friday and at 10:30 on Thursday and Friday. Also WSOC aired Dr. Phil at noon Friday in lieu of its noon news before hockey at 1, followed by college football at 3:30.

KCTV pre-empted People Now at 6:30PM for a Time Life infomercial, are they that desperate for $ since they haven't aired the Chiefs in over a month and won't be get another game until next week?

AFV is preempted this week for Something's Coming: West Side Story - A Special Edition of 20/20

PROOF:

ABC News presents a one-hour primetime event that goes behind-the-scenes of the upcoming film adaptation of "West Side Story" and features a new interview with director Steven Spielberg. Spielberg reflects on his fascination with the "West Side Story" original Broadway cast recording growing up and how it helped inspire his filmmaking career, his hesitancy to make a musical until now, the relevance of the movie's themes in today's world, and how he's adapting the iconic musical for the next generation. "Something's Coming: West Side Story" includes interviews with Ansel Elgort, Rachel Zegler, and Ariana DeBose, stars of the upcoming film; Rita Moreno, who opens up about her Oscar-winning role as Anita in the 1961 version and her role in the new film written especially for her; Chita Rivera, who first played the role of Anita on Broadway; Stephen Sondheim, legendary lyricist who wrote the lyrics for the original Broadway musical; Tony-award winning Tony Kushner, who wrote the screenplay; Cindy Tolan, the film's casting director on selecting rising stars for the iconic roles; and Puerto Rican historians that consulted on the film. "Something's Coming: West Side Story - A Special Edition of 20/20" airs Sunday, Dec. 5 (7:00-8:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.
