They preempted that for this?

and in some markets not even on same network
Minnesota its like that
Minneapolis Jeopardy on NBC and Wheel on CBS
Duluth Jeopardy on CBS and Wheel on NBC
Mankato Jeopardy on NBC and Wheel on CBS
Rochester is the only exception as both Jeopardy and Wheel on CBS

Wheel is on at 6:30 in all markets and Jeopardy either 4:30 or 5

Tuesday, March 4, the night of JIT Semis #3, is when it is not the SotU but the speech to the joint session of Congress. If you normally watch J! at 7 or 7:30 in the West, look for it later on your local schedule.

Even here in Phoenix on Indy KTVK, although they are showing a Suns game that night against the Clippers.

Oh my!

BTW, what's on ABC tonight and tomorrow? I didn't even look like a jackass...
tonight
Shifting Gears, Abbott Elementary, Celebrity Jeopardy and What Would You Do

tomorrow
Extreme Makeover Home, Scamanda, Perfect Wife

Thing of note. WDiO has carried the high school hockey section semi and finals for the last 20 years plus. So its not like its new ;)

Next Wednesday through Saturday WDIO will be moving programming to late night as they carry the high school hockey tourney on WDIO (usually the only tourney they do. Girls hockey, boys basketball and girls basketball is usually carried on MeTV 10.2 which they carry in HD for this reason

Next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday hockey is on from 11am-4pm and 6pm-11
Next Saturday the hockey finals are at noon and 7PM

normal ABC programming moved to 1:06-4:06 each night. Saturdays ABC NHL games and NBA game moves to WDIO 10.2 MeTV
Next Wednesday...same programming as this week
Thursday is 911, Doctor Odyssey and Greys Anatomy
Friday is Shark Tank and 20/20

Meanwhile in North Dakota Friday and Saturday high school hockey is on ABC WDAY/WDAZ/KBMY/KMCY
WDAY Fargo WDAZ Grand Forks
KBMY Bismarck KMCY Minot

Hockey is on Friday from 5:30-10. ABC programming is on at 12:37am
Saturday the championship games are on from 4:30-10. NBA game that starts at 2 will also be shown on X.2 TrueCrime Network and NBA game at night will be on X.3 WDAY/Z Xtra. Note that True Crime is in SD but WDAY/Z Xtra is in HD :) (the reason the early NBA game is on TrueCrime is Xtra has a NDSU basketball game during the same time).

The reason as to why other markets in Minnesota don’t have pre-empts for high school sports is
-Minneapolis market it’s on KSTC 45 which is an independent (the mothership for high school tourneys)
-Rochester market it’s on KAAL 6-2 which is StartTV
-Duluth has the other high school tourneys on WDIO DT2 (MeTV in HD) like football, girls hockey and basketball tourneys.
-All 3 stations in MN (plus KSTP ABC) are all owned by Hubbard
-Mankato market you can stream it via the KSTP, WDIO or KAAL app. We do not have a licensed ABC in Mankato market. Cable and satellite gives you KSTP.
-Fargo market it’s on 15-2 AntennaTV subchannel

Also Charter Spectrum in Mankato carries KAAL-DT2

KTLA (CW/Los Angeles) is bumping the late Georgia Tech/Stanford Women's College Basketball game today to its 5.2 subchannel as it'll air its annual Live From the Oscars pre-show.

Even here in Phoenix on Indy KTVK, although they are showing a Suns game that night against the Clippers.
Never mind the latter point, tonight's Suns game against the Clippers is exclusively on TNT, KTVK is showing the President's address, albeit they're simulcasting the CBS feed that's on sister station KPHO (CBS/Phoenix).
