They preempted that for this?

NBC affiliates ran their 6:00 newscasts or program from 6:20-6:50, and NBC produced a 10-minute edition of Nightly News, resulting in 7:00 programming starting on time everywhere.

That's normally what should happen, at least with college sports. Net news eats any overage.

Listings generally don't change on weekends because there usually isn't anyone working to do it. My listings still have the normal lineup on WCBS and WFSB as well. They'll probably be updated by noon tomorrow.

The NFL game is there now. WCBS is bumping Inside Edition and Entertainment Tonight to 2:07 and 2:37 AM in place of infomercials. Neither show repeats on weeknights in NYC anymore. ET used to repeat at midnight on WLNY, but they dropped this airing this season. The weekend edition still repeats on WLNY Saturdays at 11:00 PM, though.

WFSB is pre-empting Inside Edition and new Meredith program People (both their only airings) entirely.

Dancing With The Stars will air at 2:05am on WSB in Atlanta. The Fox Shows will air at 11:30pm on WLUK in Green Bay

On WLUK, Wheel of Fortune was scheduled to air early at 5:30 PM Central tonight due to a pregame show, which would shorten the 5:00 news in half. Since the game was moved from 7:15 to 7:50 in response to CBS's game being rescheduled, the 5:00 news remained a full hour, Wheel aired at the usual 6:30, and the pregame show aired at 7:00. Listings still had the previous scheduling.

Many CBS's are moving pre-empted prime access shows to the post-Corden slots.

In one of the more unique moves, WTSP 10 in Tampa is moving Monday's Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! to 3:00 and 3:30 PM Eastern Tuesday afternoon, replacing a double run of Daily Blast Live. Normally, they don't make up Wheel at all when pre-empted; Jeopardy! episodes would sometimes get delayed to early Saturday morning.

This kind of thing still happens in Canada. Rogers Cable broadcasts CBS Saturday College Football games via simsub. Since they're only "scheduled" until 7:00 PM Eastern, the games almost-always abruptly get cut off at that time and the feed switches to Wheel of Fortune on Canada's YesTV. There are always complaints on Twitter when this happens. Two weekends ago, when CBS's game ran to 8:00, Rogers switched back to the game at 7:05, but then the game got cut off again at 7:30 for Jeopardy!, and it never came back.

Looks like Rogers did this again with tonight's game. Several Canadians on Twitter complained that their CBS feed abruptly switched to Wheel of Fortune on YesTV around 7:15 Eastern. The game was back on by 7:50.

Surprisingly, CBS signed off from the Pats/Chiefs game as soon as it ended, with no postgame at all. Big Brother started 10 minutes early at around 9:50 PM Eastern.

I wonder if the 11:00 newscasts will have to add an extra 10 minutes tonight, or if Colbert and Corden will also run 10 minutes early.

I recorded just in case they aired something else during those last 10 minutes but it looks like they extended the episode by 10 minutes. I hated being tempted by a show like this.

"Jeopardy" did not air because of the game but my listings said it did. If I had a way of showing what time it aired in the middle of the night, if it did, I would have recorded. I could have also recorded all the CBS affiliate programming during the night.

Does anyone know of a way to watch last night's episode? My NBC affiliate joined in progress after spending way too much time showing Trump getting off the helicopter and then showing what happened a few minutes earlier. I only got to see Double Jeopardy (minus a few clues) and Final Jeopardy. I'm not even interested in the competition if I can just see the answers and the correct questions.

The Big Four all cut in around 6:30 ET to cover his arrival. ABC and FOX signed off at 7:00, but NBC continued until 7:15 (which was nothing but looping the same footage of him getting off the helicopter and going inside).

WFMY pre-empted both Jeopardy! and Wheel because of the CBS game, but I checked it overnight after Corden and Wheel was airing at 1:37, so J! should have followed at 2:07. I'm sure last night's J! can be found on YouTube somewhere. Last night's Wheel is up there in full (I actually had to capture it for the user off WABC since he watches on WTHR NBC 13 in Indianapolis, so he lost the first two rounds and part of the third).

I remember when other fans of a show I liked posted links to episodes on YouTube once the show stopped airing in the US (though reruns did show up here later). The videos were allowed because they didn't exactly match what aired, such as talking like Munchkins or some video effect that made it look different. That was certainly the case here.

Last Monday, the Virginia Senate Debate aired at 7:00 PM Eastern on at least WRIC ABC 8 in Richmond, pre-empting Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! Jepoardy!'s Monday episode aired at 12:30 PM Tuesday, but Wheel was not made up at all.

Also on Monday, the 7th Congressional District Debate aired live on WFTV ABC 9 in Orlando at 7:30, moving Wheel of Fortune to 6:30 PM on indie sister WRDQ 27 (7:30 is Family Feud, too big a show to replace).

WCNC is preempting The Weakest Link tonight for a pre-debate news special. And to my knowledge I don’t know if they are going to air it.

With Roland Garros (French Open) the next two weekdays (Thursday and Friday) on NBC here in Mankato they did some shuffling around (its on from 11-2 local Time)

Drew Barrymore is pre-empted on KMNF-LD1 at 11am. But her show repeats at 4am next day on co-owned KEYC-DT2 FOX
Rachael moves from noon on KMNF-LD1 to 9am on co-owned KEYC-DT2 FOX at 9am replacing a run of Dr Phil (Phil is on at 3pm on KEYC CBS....shockingly the 9am episode is the first run of the show and not a rerun)

also tomorrow I see that due to NFL and the pre-game at 6:30 CDT on FOX the Big Bang Theory episode gets moved to 2:30am replacing an episode of 2 1/2 men (eh its an Ashton episode....those suck so no loss there) ;)

In Minneapolis on KARE 11 both Rachael (at 11) and Drew (at 1) are pre-empted with no make ups

Looks like they didn't make it up. However, the pre-empted episode (S1 E3) is set to rerun on Saturday 10/17 on NBC at 8:00 PM Eastern. Bravo will also be airing reruns of the episodes aired to date starting that same day.

Possible Preemption Alert!

The Bills-Titans game has been rescheduled to Tuesday night at 6pm, as long as there are no more positive tests with Tennessee. So the local news could be preempted.

Same thing with Broncos-Patriots on Monday.
