The only home provider in Myrtle Beach that doesn't carry WBTW-DT2 is Dish. DirecTV carries it on 14, Frontier on 49, HTC Cable on 89, and Spectrum on 1215.

Everyone in Charleston carries WCBD-DT2: 14 on UVerse and Comcast, 3 on DirectTV, and 50 on Dish.
 
NASCAR took a long time today because of rain. Around 5:50-55 PM Eastern, the game began simulcasting on CNBC, cutting off an episode of Undercover Boss towards the end. NBC signed off at 6:00, at which point the second stage still hadn't finished, and urged viewers to switch to CNBC for the rest of the race. The race went into overtime and did not end until a little after 7:00. The 6:00 episode of Undercover Boss on CNBC was fully pre-empted, and the 7:00 one was JIP'd at 7:14.

One thing to keep in mind is that The Masters is being played in November, not April, which means a much earlier sunset. On November 15 the sun sets in Augusta at 5:24pm, so good idea that they are wrapping up around 4pm.

around 4:30 CDT is when NBC started warning viewers to turn to CNBC at 4:55 CDT. So at least there was some leeway not like the last time where with no notice they told us to change to NBC SN

How many people have a high enough antenna to pick it up from that far away? And the right kind? It has to be designed for VHF.

Also, this one man who writes for The Sun News but is retired can't get it in his RV.

I don't remember what the web site is that shows you a map of where you can pick up a signal, but I did find this one web site. WBTW is not listed.

That site sucks honestly. Looks like they are missing stations and probably base it off one of those mudflap antennas

Google sometimes gives good results, and then there's this case. I only recently learned how to use it at home. My computer has Bing.

I always avoided doing searches to keep me out of sites that could cause problems. Also, because of COVID-19 (one of the libraries I go to may have added actual newspapers instead of selected text on NewsBank for that reason, so I don't have to wait to see the actual newspapers on paper and make copies) I am always signed in to Google. Rather than buy a printer I save items I want to print later on Google Drive. One of the newspapers whose web site I look at has a link to Google search and since I use private browsing to look at articles on newspaper web sites, Google isn't aware of my searches.

CBS ran until 7:30 ET on the dot, half an hour over. KTVT in Dallas (O&O) has local news scheduled for 6:00 CT and Wheel of Fortune for 6:30 (though it's usually listed as Paid Programming). In this case, there was no news, but since KTVT is infamous among local Wheel fans for starting the show "too early" such that DVR recordings cut off the beginning, the show was JIP'd during the contestant interviews.

ABC ran until 11:23ish.

From what I can see CBS is doing the same thing they did last yesr in only scheduling college football until 7 PM ET, even though the games are almost never over by then. They need to change to running the schedule until 7:30 to allow for the length of most games and a scoreboard show for what time is left if any.

I said the exact same thing in the "Should NFL TV rules be changed?" thread. It's been at least two seasons since a CBS CFB game ended at 7:00 with postgame. I tune into CBS or check the CBS feed on Clippit (formerly WCBS, now KYW) every Saturday at 7:00 since last season and not one game since then has signed off at 7:00. You can usually predict this based on where the clock is at 6:30. If the fourth quarter hasn't started by that time, CBS 95% likely will not sign off until at least 7:30.

I never understood why CBS does all that postgame stuff anyway, since the other networks don't. Go figure since CBS doesn't schedule a "CFB Extra/Scoreboard" slot like ABC and FOX do.
 
I turned on the TV last night and Brad Panovich was on WCNC talking about a tornado warning. I wasn't recording and I didn't stay on the channel long enough to see how this lasted. I was recording WSOC in case there was no game. The weather bulletin was there but I stopped the recording. I always record what is on Fox between 7 and 8 just in case something is on I didn't know to record. I think I saw the "Simpsons" episode but it was joined in progress after a few minutes.
