They preempted that for this?

I wonder if the CBS switchboard was lit up last night after football by disgruntled "60 Minutes" devotees who wondered why their beloved show was bumped entirely due to both the NFL overrun and the VMA Awards.
There was no “overrun” as both the CBS late window NFL games ended before 7:30pm ET, and 60 Minutes was never on the schedule. The 60 minutes season premiere on September 28 was promoted several times during the afternoon.

Everything aired as it was supposed to.

Tonight's ABC primetime lineup will not air at all on WKBW 7 in Buffalo, including Celebrity Family Feud, due to the Dolphins vs Bills via Prime Video simulcast but will an air a repeat of the show in late night in Kimmel's timeslot.

In Miami, CBS primetime lineup on WFOR moved over to WBFS CW Miami 33 in its entirely including Big Brother, Matlock, Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Police 24/7 returns with new episodes but will be seen in late night as well.

As I write this, tonight is the final D'backs game simulcasted this season on KPNX (NBC/Phoenix) against the Phillies. NBC's primetime lineup of America's Got Talent & Dateline will air at 1:07 after late night.

Tonight's all-new FOX primetime lineup in Phoenix will air at 11pm due to the Cardinals on TNF hosting the Seattle Seahawks. KSAZ will air a newscast at 8 after the game.

I have two stations that air "Jeopardy" so I was able to watch the rest of the episode on the one that has it at 7:30.

But at 7 NBC had a news bulletin about a peace deal for Gaza. It ended just after the conversations with the three contestants and a memorable yell from "A Streetcar Named Desire". The contestants who participated in that had a choice of "STELLA!" or "STANLEY!"

Monday in Minneapolis 911 Nashville is delayed on KSTP ABC 5 due to a local broadcast of What the Fraud? 5 News special report scheduled for 9pm after the NFL game. 911 Nashville tentatively set for 12:06AM

NBC affiliates were unable to air "Wheel" and "Jeopardy" last night if they had the shows when most do because of the NBA. I remember reading they were going to start at 7 on the first night and I hope that was it.

I have a second station airing both.

My NBC affiliate only aired Jeopardy yesterday, but no Wheel.

"Shifting Gears" did not record. I know it was on because the end was on my recording of "Abbott Elementary". But here's what's strange. As a precaution, I do manual recordings of both time slots on ABC, so I will get whatever airs regardless. There have been a lot of schedule changes on ABC at those times. And what I got was Hornets basketball. I had no idea that would be on, and don't even remember the last time that was on one of the network affiliates.

Shifting Gears (as well as the rest of the ABC primetime lineup, up until 10:00) actually aired on WAXN Channel 64 last night.

I think they did the same with with Grey's Anatomy and the rest of the Thursday night lineup one time a year or two ago. (Sending the ABC primetime lineup to WAXN while airing a ball game on WSOC.)

They have no right to do that without warning. If they do it they need to tell us constantly during all WSOC-TV programming.

This Tuesday, Wheel will not be preempted on my local NBC station. The NBA game that night starts at 7pm CT. The 10:00 news and the NBC late-night lineup will air on time.

ICYMI, Last Thursday, WMAR 2 (ABC) aired TNF between Ravens/Dolphins game. Grey's Anatomy, and 9-1-1 have been preempted entirely but 9-1-1 Nashville aired in late night.

CBS programming moved to WBFS 33 (CW) in its entirely from 8-11pm and CW programming moved to late night too.
