They preempted that for this?

This coming Monday, November 10, KPHO in Phoenix will be preempting CBS Monday night Primetime lineup until 1:30 AM as they air a Phoenix Suns NBA game simulcast from KPHE-LD as sister station KTVK (which normally airs Suns game simulcast from KPHE-LD) airs a Grand Canyon University College Basketball game instead.

Tonight in Minneapolis KARE NBC will be showing the Timberwolves game starting at 7. Regular programming including season premiere of Happys Place and series premiere of Stumble will start at 12:37

Last night both kunp Portland and kfda and Amarillo Texas while kpho phoenix az had an NBA game
and as well ktvk Phoenix az had a college basketball game
While kmcc 34 and wsfl 39 had a nhl game last night. Also while abc had a NFL game Tonight nbc has a NBA game at 8pm

Today is remberance day or veterans day check your local listings in your market to see if your favorite shows will be on or off for whole day as well as the overnight time slot set the DVRs just in case if there's a emergency going on or breaking news like cbs cw mnt nbc abc fox ind and pbs stations check titan or grace note for more details

The main WBZ channel will be airing a special Patriots All Access tomorrow night at 7pm ET so tomorrow night's WoF and J! will air at their regular times on sister channel WSBK replacing both episodes of TBBT.

Tonight, WKBW Buffalo is unable to air ABC primetime with a 9-1-1 Nashville marathon in its entirely, for TNF between Bills/Texans game.

In Houston, KRIV will run Fox programming late night after the news with Hell's Kitchen and the Special Forces season finale.

I made sure the "Everybody Loves Raymond" special Nov. 24 would get recorded (even though I never watched the series). When I looked at when it was on, WBTV Charlotte was not airing it. There is football instead.

WFMY Greensboro is on my cable system and I sometimes get a good signal with an antenna.

They're doing so again tonight.

Yeah, well, good luck getting it recorded. These stations rarely get it right.

If you were to try a service such as YouTube TV, you'd find that it is incredibly good at recording the programs you ask it to record no matter when they air. Unlike a Tivo or a traditional cable DVR, YTTV follows network and local station delays in real time. It works perfectly for things like CBS Sunday night football pushbacks.

I don’t live in Charlotte. I’m in Minnesota (Mankato) where all our nets in the market (CBS, Fox and NBC…no ABC in market) are owned by Gray (like your station in question). I’m sure they aired it
Since you set EVERYTHING on your TiVo like a VCR (you set everything manually. You mentioned it) what would be the issue? Set it to run long.
In my market the NBC had the Timberwolves basketball game. The second NBC show (that is on normally after Reba) ran at like 3am this morning. I set it to record for an hour on my TiVo. Not only did it record it also had commercial skip.

If I remember to do it. And to do it I have to be aware it is happening.

Also, there are what are called season passes.

And I have had the experience of the show starting early too.

How do you prepare for everything?

Meanwhile, "Jeopardy" will not air at its usual time Friday. I have two options but when I checked "upcoming" it said WFMY would air the episode, but I had checked and saw College Football. Yeah, sure the game will end on time.

The Paw Patrol Christmas special will not be on WFMY. More college football.

If it airs overnight due to preemption record it long. Not that hard

I have had TiVo for a couple decades now. I know what season passes are ;)
Season passes know when the change happens (unlike manually setting up timers)

If it’s a network show it usually doesn’t. My local news starts at 4:58 and 5:59:30 (the 6 pm news is on both CBS and NBC since Gray owns both. NBC National news runs 30 seconds longer than CBS National).

Season passes. I check the other stations daily to see if anything new to record or any ‘out of the ordinary’ things like last week when the MN Timberwolves game was on NBC so the 7:30 show that is after Reba’s show was on late night.

It might. They have a 3 1/2 hour timeblock and games this year have run quicker on CBS than when they had SEC games. Last Saturdays game was done 15 minutes before the top of the hour. This week is goofy due to tons of football on Thursday and Friday. I’ve seen in the guide programs being aired hours earlier to do sports.
The Paw Patrol Christmas special will not be on WFMY. More college football.
Tv listings show it in the guide and on listings for WFMY

I was letting you know I knew.

When the station airs it in the middle of the night, yes, it can happen. And last night's "Simpsons" started early.

Maybe I'm thinking of WBTV.

I have a theory. The way I view listings, I quickly changed the time from 7 (when WFMY would normally air "Wheel of Fortune", which definitely won't be on) to 8. Sometimes the show for the time does not change quickly enough, and I think the show for the previous time is the show for the new time.
