They're Multi-Formatted.

There are only a few groups and artists that were heard on more than two formats in radio which includes, Soul (R&B), AOR, MOR/AC and Top 40.

Acts like, Santana, Sly & the Family Stone, War and Stevie Wonder have the distinction of their music being heard on station like WPLJ, WABC, WWRL, WBLS, WNEW-FM and even WNEW-AM gave some airplay to the mentioned artists.

Are there any groups/artists that I left out?

Thanks,
Kevin L. Sealy
