This from AllAccess.com:

What's 'New' In The Triad?
ALL ACCESS hears wind of a "new" station coming to the GREENSBORO-HIGH POINT-WINSTON SALEM market! Look for some cunning stunting to begin on MONDAY (11/13).

Don't know where you got YOUR information, but think you'll be eatin' a little crow by Tuesday, because it's gonna be Hitz 94. Oldies, baby!

I'm not convinced the allaccess blurb wasn't referring to the "rumored" switch of SMW to all Christmas on Monday then resurfacing as the "Movin'" format after the holidays.

Kinda goes along with my earlier post about 98.7 changing formats like clockwork. In fact, I use format changes on that frequency to remind me to change the batteries in the smoke alarm. Fail proof... ;)

That would be too good! You're absolutely right about their format changes and their due for one. Time to change the batteries!

Doesn't matter what HITZ 94 does (if anything) for a format ...they will still be 17th in a 12 station market.
Can you say NO SIGNAL in Alamance County???

I mean they got beat by WEND (last I checked was a Charlotte station) and by WBRF (last I checked was in Galax, Va)

All the best with that Gig!

If you are going to be successful in the ratings, you have got to have great coverage in Guilford, Forsyth, and Alamance in addition to Davidson and Davie. However, you can be financially successful with holes in the signal. Gig is more of an old-time broadcaster - it's about the money not the ratings!

Guess you could call what they're doing stunting. Of course maybe it's not over yet. Maybe it will actually get creative. ;D
