Things are slow..here's a topic.

Current or past favorite commercials you've heard on the radio:

Current:
Gotta love the fertility monitor spot with the sound effects that make the guy nervous.
**Squeakoo squeakoo**
Man: "Okay now that's just unneccessary."
Woman: "What?!!? It's just a kitten bouncing on a tampoline!"
:D

"Fire ants aren't cute and cuddly. Nobody wants a fire ant plush toy"

(or something to that affect)

"Bud Light presents, REAL MEN OF GENIUS....today we saulte YOU, Mr. Giant Taco Salad inventor..."

I know one I HATE...the McDonald's commercial that starts with these lines:

"I wuv you, hunny bunny..."
"I wuv you too sugar booger..."

That's enough to make me lose my appetite right there. :-X

I remember the old Wild Horse Saloon commercials that used to run on the first version of The Fan with Clint Westwood. , those were pretty funny. Also does anyone reember the old Pofolks commercials with the song? "Pofolks keeps on cookin' Atlanta's best fried chicken..." Those are the first two that come to mind.

That's why they have to die........

Ant Stop Fire Ant Killer from Ortho---That was a $100,000 Mercury Award Winner. No music. No SFX. Just an awesome script and superb delivery!

I always loved the "Crank It" commercials that Cats Paw did for Hi Fi Buys about 10 years ago. Those were some killer spots.

Dang, I just realized those spots are approaching 10 years old now.
Which means I'm at least 10 years older than when I was laughing at them.

And, in case anybody else is feeling nostalgic, here's a link to Radio Savant's page where you can hear both Instant Death and the other spot that rotated with it Sole Contribution.

I think there's some Comcast or Charter spot, where someone's trying to call a guy and they pretend to be Mr. T...and they're just using sound clips.

"I know it's hard to believe, but it's true."
"Quit yo jibba-jabba!"

:D

Agreed! Another one I can't stand is the one for Proactive Acne medicine that has the girl and the Proactive person on the phone, and BOTH of them are on the DISTANT end of the phone. The production house didn't even have enough sense to put one or the other of them on the LIVE end.
Pretty much hate all car dealer commercials. Why do they still think screaming at us works?

the hunny bunny one makes me turn the volume off until its over and its always paired with the other one, I hate them both. all the auto repair maintenance ones bug me too, there's one I can't remember right now but its an Irish sounding name with an obnoxious jingle/theme song, and Tom Shane makes me want to hurl
oh wait the topic is good commercials hmm
I like the Regular guys doing there own commercials for Krystal and the jeweler I don't remember but he "put the jew in jewelry" ! That one had me laughing.

Not my favorite, these are the ones that drive me to change the radio station whenever I hear them:

The Scott Antique Mall commercials featuring that winy voiced biotch was the number one annoying audio commercial. There were five or six versions she made over the years, but they all sounded the same. It was her voice! With relief, I think someone has finally listened to my constructively critical e-mails and their has been a change.

The new Volkswagen commercials where new owners of used vehicles contact the vehicle's previous owners . . . What a really odd commercial . . . Surely there is a better way to bring notice to a brand of vehicles! Jimmy Ellis, are you listening?
