Things may not be rosey...But Happy Thanksgiving!

JBI, and the same to you and all. One of these days I'm going to make an appointment to drive down from Melmfus and buy a lunch. I have a feeling we both have great stories to share.

- Great Subject !
Mr. Boyd, I Feel Words Had Possible Been Misunderstood In Post/Replies, I Indeed Apologies If Something Was Written By Myself That Offended You..
I've Never The Pleasure Of Meeting You, However I Have Heard From Many You Are A Very Good Man.
I've Wondered If Mentioning Galtalli Tied In, I doubt It.

Not to worry...there is no problem on my end. It amazes me that sometimes we in the communications business, fail to properly communicate ourselves! I have found that when I have a problem, I do not email...but rather write it on a tablet and check it the next day. many times, I just throw it away. I wish the best for you...and invite you to drop by when you have a chance.
I might mention that I did a few jobs on equipment re-hab and transmitter for Paul. Thanks and have a great year in 2012....JBI

NOW - You kinda Got Me ! But I Will Try.
Was The Airman : John Mitchell was a twenty-six year old from Mississippi, born 14-Jul-1915. He had been valedictorian of his high school class, a student at Columbia University, and was a three year Army veteran. He managed to get married in the confused weeks just after Pearl Harbor, and then shipped out to San Francisco. On his arrival at the 70th FS base at Hamilton Field, he learned that most of the experienced men of the squadron had been sent to Java, to try to stem the Japanese onslaught. (They failed, and most of them died.)

The First Thing That Comes In My Mind = Soul Searching ! ;)

My dad is from Enid. He passed last year, but not before he chronicled his WWII adventures in 'Granddaddy, Tell Us About the War: A Southern GI's Experiences in World War II'. Written very much from an Enid and Mississippi perspective. Drop me a line if by chance you're interested.
