Think I know why Kvet is number 1

They are probably to me, one of the best programed country stations I ever heard.<P ID="signature">______________

KVET is definitely my favorite station to listen to when I'm in Austin. Let's just hope and pray that CC doesn't screw it up!

Yeah, they've only had it for, what, 5 or 6 years now? I'll bet their evil plan is to wait until the 10th year to screw it up! (lightning strikes) moowahahaha!

As someone on the inside, I was scared of that too....but despite all the fears of Clear Channel screwing up everything, they really haven't been to bad in Austin (except for maybe hiring Jay Shannon back). I think KVET will be around for a while.

KVET was my favorite country station when I was living in Austin 6 years ago. Do they still do classic country on Saturday mornings?
