Former CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WVKS (KISS 92.5)/TOLEDO morning man JOHNY D. didn't sit idle for very long. He is now doing wakeups for crosstown CUMULUS Top 40 WTWR (TOWER 98).

He's replacing PD/morning man JEFF WICKER (aka TRAIN). Look for another CUMULUS PD to take over the programming slot soon. Find JEFF at (419) 345-0388 or [email protected].

Non-compete was waived. Apparently KISS not worried about Johnny. Mistake with Fall book starting soon and Johnny having 10 years worth of market equity. On top of that WSPD is losing clean up man Denny Schaeffer. CC Toledo might be taking some knocks for the next 2-3 books....if not longer.

Strong rumor that the new KISS AM host signed in excess of $150k - for market 84!
