This Don't Smell Right!

What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports is a goin' on at KFWhyEYE? Seems the new Dudeboss has been makin' changes that don't make a lot of sense:

- Newscasts begin with a reminder that KFWhyEye does news on the hour, the half hour and bulletins as warranted. Isn't this KT'R's strength? Then we're reminded of the day and date, as if we're a bunch of know-nothings aboard the SS Minnow in Port Hueneme.

- Promos now follow newscasts. And why would the Dudeboss do a promo for FOX News? The Men In Secret Underwear must be quakin' in their skivvies and snortin' Pepsi out their nostrils!

- Local talkers (Bruce, TNBO, Crummey & Wheel of Hosts) no longer wrap up the hour right before the :55 commerical cluster bowel movement. They're given 15 seconds after 5 minutes of commercials to say something clever before top of the hour news.

For this, Nurse Jeff and I waited a full month before the new Dudeboss did anything? It don't smell right to us.

Please recut this promo ASAP as the voiceover guy sounds more distorted than the paid programming on KFNX. It's been running almost one week now, so either you're tone deaf or listening more to 92~three than 5~Fifty.

Google "chowder society"and you will find 11,200 useless groups that incorporate "...and Chowder Society" in their names.

Apparently, long, long ago, back before Akbar and Jeff appeared in the newspaper, some sort of "Marching Band and Chowder Society" existed in Boston for the purpose of allowing old men with nothing to say to gather and say nothing. Perfect for the KT'R Greek Chorus.

Seems to us you enjoy it! But then again, aint a whole heck of lot goin' on in Pt Hueneme. Maybe you ought to take the SS Minnow out on the high seas and see what's happening in Pismo Beach. Plenty of clams there to make your chowder :eek:

Congrats...you've set the record for most deleted material in one day on the Phoenix board. Nurse Jeff and I suspect you hold similar records on other boards as well! A big bowl of chowder is on it's way from the Buckeye Media Hut! By the way, how's Ventura county radio these days? :D

Yeah, if you arrange Drakbarisms from column A, and column B, just right, you can get something really bad.

Ventura radio ? Not bad.

LA radio? Bad.

Phoenix radio? Not so bad?

Sirius radio? Good.

Streaming radio? Better.

XM radio? The best.

He is just loving the fact that Akbar made a typo. If just about anyone else made that same mistake (except Old Gringo, and now probably me since I'm posting this), he likely would have it let it pass.
