Just viewed BRIAN WHITMAN doing his best work. He does an excellent job doing PRESIDENT BUSH & AL GORE.

WPLJ's SCOTT SHANNON discovered Whitman when he was hosting the Z-100 Z MORNING ZOO. Brian would call up and do his comedy bits. Brian would call me from time to time. He would play some of his phone bits he did with MAJIC MATT ALAN on KIIS-FM (LA). I advised him he should hook up with RICK DEES who was doing AM DRIVE on KIIS. A few days later he hooked up with Dees. I think I gave him great advice. I'm proud to say we were the first to feature Brian on a national aircheck service. When we did the video, Brian was guest DJing on Savannah's Z-102. A few years later Brian joined TALKRADIO 77 WABC. I believe he was 24 when he got that gig.

The clip on YouTube is titled..."CONWAY AND WHITMAN WITH TOM LEYKIS ON KCAL9". I think you'll enjoy it!
 
Brian used to call ME overnights on WNBC as Beaver Cleaver and his brother Wally.
He was a young teen at the time. I told him THEN that he was going to have a huge career if he did it right. He did.
