Another station just went to Jack FM in Knoxville but here in Albany New York we are stuck in freakin limbo here. This is one of the very few major radio markets that does not have a Jack FM. You can tell me what ever you want but this is complete stupidness and sickening on how no one will bring Jack FM here yet. People that i know wrote to gm's of companys except clear channel here in Albany New York expressing how they feel and want Jack FM from sparknet either threw ABC's Jack FM feed or the way Infinity Does it there has been no response or anything yet from any of the gms this is terrible. We want Jack FM only here in Albany New York already. The heck with WRVE that's no where's near jack like people claim, that's a lousy station.

There isn't one in Milwaukee either thank God. They're fumbling around with it on WMYX Milwaukee and its a total ratings nightmare. There's 2 in Chicago.<P ID="signature">______________

Due to your passion for the format, I truly hope that somebody does the Jack format in Albany before you climb out on a legdge or go up in a bell tower with a rifle.

But seriously, when did Albany become a "major radio market"? It's not top 10 or even top 20. Major? Mabye large, definitely medium but Major?

Los Angeles also have 2 Variety Hits stations as well.

However up here in the Puget Sound area you can get "JACK"-ed three times over from Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria.

I was there in Albany last Augest, spent a whole week there.
A very very poor market, I feel your pain!
I did like that the SUNY's radio station is CHR "The Saint," giving some competition to the CCU Fly92-3.

The River is boring...

But you're right, no Jack there.
Don't feel bad either, no Jack here in Lubbock Texas either.

But FYI, there are other markets are as bad as Albany ;)

Well, if it's just a couple of you racking up frequent flyer miles, and sleeping in overpriced motels...
Perhaps you, er, Jack, should hire some regional agents (hint, hint ;)

For the right price, I could learn to love Jack very very much!

Actually, WFLY is owned by Pamal.

Nevertheless, it's good to see a college station giving the big guy a run for their money.
