This sounds more like Hot AC to me rather than "Lite Rock". Thoughts?

I heard Cobra Starship and Usher also..They are actually more hip sounding than 102.9

lol, the above list is NOT hip!

I guess it's not HOP either!

This is the direction AC has been headed for a while now. Moms want to be "cool" without over doing it. Less disco and 70s and more of today's "pop" music. KVIL tends to be on the hotter side of ac but definitely not out of line with today's AC product.

Isn't it odd? Women in their 40s who listen to AC mostly want to hear 90s and current music with a few 80s thrown in.

Meanwhile men in their 40s who listen to Classic Rock only want to hear songs from the 60s, 70s and a few 80s. The Stones, Van Halen, Springsteen, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, mostly 25 - 40 year old music or older.

Doesn't seem out if the norm to me either. Today's adults are staying hipper/younger than in the past and seem to prefer to keep up with current hit music. The line between AC, Hot AC, and CHR is really pretty blurred now. In the past (70s/80s), it would be really odd to see a 40 or 50 year old listening to current pop music, but now, it's not unusual at all to see 50 year old women listening to the CHR station.

And I'm pretty much that way myself (even though I'm not female). I'm in my mid 40s and listen mostly to current based formats (CHR, Dance, & country). I have zero desire to live in the past and listen to the same 200 songs from my high school days over and over, day after day, year after year. I can't understand how anyone can listen exclusively to classic rock or classic hits formats.
