this is too boring

so no one can seem to post anything interesting...i guess nothing interesting is going on in Seattle radio this week...EXCEPT FOR THE FRIGGIN FALL BOOK COMING IN ON FRIDAY. is that not of importance to anyone?!

If it is important to you, who do you think will do well? Who will flop? What about the stations everyone on this board seem to question? KNDD, KJAQ, KQMV, etc. How will those stations fare? Any flips on the horizon that could stem directly from a poor performance in this book?

Beerman,

We're in the winter doldrums, that's for sure!

With the rolling Arbitrends there's little left for surprise in the upcoming book.

Watch for KRWM and KCMS to get a spike from their all X-mas music. KOMO will slip further without the Mariners and KIRO will get a bit of a kiss at their expense.
Steady as she goes to maybe up another .2 for KQMV. KNDD flat, KJAQ slips another .2. KUBE still #1 12+ and KMPS holds steady while the Wolf is flat...anyone else want to add their .02$ worth?

See that's what I'm talking about! I know arbitrends show a snapshot of what we might see in the book, but who knows, things could change. Is it me or are things in Seattle radio in general just getting boring? In the last few years we've seen some great flips and adjustments by stations, but since KQMV flipped nothing seems like it's on the horizon. There are no real shake ups with personalities that anyone cares about. Come on! Radio is about drama! Give me something to talk about here!

Since the final month of the rating period included both a snowstorm and a windstorm I wouldn't be surprised to see a big wet kiss for both KIRO and KOMO. I know I found myself listening to KOMO way more than I ever have outside of Mariners' games.

My prediction?
More managers, less talent.
Oh wait, that was 2006.

We could always stage a promotion that goes bad ... someone pays the ultimate sacrifice, and everyone in the station food chain EXCEPT THE GENERAL MANAGER gets canned.

Oh wait, that was 2007.
