THIS IS TOTAL INSANITY

Anyone remember the time when there was just V103 and Star 94 and that was THE CLOSEST to any type of chr you could ever get? I don't even remember if there were any r&b stations around at that time back in 1993, 1994, etc.

I wonder how popular 95.5 The Beat would've become if Q100 never launched and 95.5 never went rhythmic to urban leaning rhythmic.

And still don't understand why ClearChannel didn't just put the proven WiLD on 96.1 and tweak it a little more mainstream instead of taking a large risk starting all over with Power and tweaking the WiLD that was working to another direction in sound?

Of course! They're HITS. Radio plays the hits. You want variety? Try listening to Kicks. They play songs that you won't hear in V. Or check out Praise. Bet you won't hear any of those songs on Dave.
