THIS is what Mix 107.7 SHOULD sound like

Although this is a pretty cool rock-leaning hot AC, I don't think that's the right direction for Mix. When I spoke with Jeff, he's trying to lean more current, but it's about those women who will rotate with them and 945. 945 is all over the place, so I think it may be a better idea for Mix to try something more pop current such as Mix 1079 in Columbus.

Since Mix already voicetracks middays, why not put Ryan Seacrest on 'MMX during middays? 94.5 has a terrible signal and this way the show would be on a "Big Stick" and bring in more ad revenue for Mix.
ljo, I agree that a more "Pop"-oriented sound would be perfect for Mix. Also, it's beyond time to dump the 80s like the guy in that article did at his "Mix" station. How many times can you hear the exact same Pat Benetar or .38 Special tunes over and over(Almost every time I turn on Mix I hear "Shadows of the Night" or "Hold On Loosely" and immediately tune out)? I'd go 90s-forward.
If 94.5 ever goes away, I see Mix going Adult CHR. They'd be the default Top 40 in town without 94.5.

LJO, Mix needs to dump the 80s and fast, you're right there!
I listened to Q102 the other day on the way down to Cincy, and they sound AWESOME! I wish Mix would sound like them...I really like Jeff and Jen in the mornings...now the two person afternoon show i'm not crazy about but it's okay I guess. My theory is there should only be one jock on outside of mornings...two is a crowd otherwise. Mix should mirror Q...and DUMP THOSE 80s!

Q102 may be a little hot for Mix just because of 945 being in the building. Flipping to something like WDVD in Detroit or Play 98.7 in Tamps on the other hand, wouldn't be a bad idea.

Mix should stay Hot AC, or lean Adult CHR, and mix in some 90s and 2000s. So far Jeff hasn't changed a thing. That's not good. The 80s have to go...and fast.

May be after Light 99.9 is done with the Christmas thing Mix will dump the 80's. From what I remember, mix use to well lighten up during the holidays so CC could keep that audience
