....You can nix those format flip rumors. OM Lyman James tells Net News today(November 11th) that the only thing they're doing is tightening the musical selection and that morning sidekick Mikayla is exiting the station.

Mikayla wasn't at the station very long, it's good KZCH didn't change format because they've only been on a year after the swap of frequencies with 96.3 and 107.3.

Speaking of 107.3 I wonder if CC gonna flip the Classic Rock format on KTHR because their numbers are not that good.
Edited by X-Man on 11/11/05 11:52 PM.

"Mikayla" has been with the station group for nearly 3 years - she started as an intern and has done fill-in on all in the cluster. Her latest gig was AM drive. She's got skills and spunk, but a bit of an ego. Too bad they let her go - good female talent is hard to find.

But, if they let Ted get away, throw in the towel!

After listening to them for a few days, if anything it sounds like they have widened the music selection. not tightened it. Anyone else notice this?

I haven't listened to them online in a while, Are they more Rhythmic leaning like 93.9 or Pop leaning?

Rhythmic leaning. The biggest difference I've noticed is I'm hearing a bigger variety of golds at night. Heard Mariah's "Always Be My Baby" after 7pm the other night.
