This just in: More RTN stations in Iowa!

According to northpine.com, RTN will be added to the following stations: KWWL in Waterloo, KTTC serving parts of northern Iowa, and KTIV from Sioux City. Wait a minute....Doesn't the Cedar Rapids market already have an RTN station?

Also, several Young Broadcasting stations have or will include RTN, but not KWQC--at least not yet, anyway....

Cedar Rapids has an RTN station, KWWF (which is owned by Equity Broadcasting which also owns RTN), based out of Waterloo but its signal is only analog and has a coverage range of only 25 miles. It appears that KWWL will simply rebroadcast the KWWF signal on a digital subchannel, which would allow the station to have a wider coverage range and allow more OTA viewers (ones with digital tuners) to pick up RTN.
