This just in...

My good friend Kevin Weatherly tells me to expect a major announcent concerning the hiring of a huge NYC ROCK personality.

Also look for a Los Angeles 40 year ROCK LEGEND to do afternoons on KROCK.

Mark and Brian are also being courted but from what i hear there under tight contract.

More details to come...

Are there any huge NYC Rock personalities that could work with a youngish male rock audience?
Names please..??

Also: A 40 year Rock Legend for afternoons? That sounds relevent to a young NYC audience. Some 60 year old from LA to come to town.

Mark and Brian are being courted? But you hear "there" under tight....blah blah blah....?

Your good friend is Mary Jane.

CR,

Believe what you want. I'm just repeating what i heard.

Ok Z, just sounds like a poor match of format target and the age of the talent I think you're referring to. Lets just hope they don't go jukebox too long.

Who? Another DLR fiasco. As to the "Los Angeles 40 year ROCK LEGEND" let me guess,,,,Rick Dees?

Crazy, no just CBS. Once again they'll snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

If they want a true NY rock "legend" they will have to raid WfUV's lineup for Scelsa or Fornatale otherwise it'll probably be some voice tracked "star" that doesn't know radio, yet again.
