This KC area LPFM needs to do something

There's a talk low power station in Kansas City which used to be on 100.5, and has paperwork to move to 98.5.
They did move their signal to 98.5 already, however their FCC paperwork expires in January and if they don't say they moved to the FCC, will they have to go back to 100.5 due to paperwork cancelation?

Not only that their audio levels are too high, making the transmitter distort on some shows. Is their engineer reading these forums?

It's my guess AOT Delta doesn't have an expert engineer, or doesn't care about their LPFM to even fix the distortion. It sounds horrible.

During another show earlier the volume was at least tollerable, making me think they do not compress/limit their audio properly.

KPPZ filed another application to move to 98.5 since their last one is out of time. The broadcast is still on 98.5 and the website is still down.

I take that back they filed a license to cover, so it is staying on 98.5. Maybe they're getting ready to launch a new format.

They're donating the LPFM from AOT DELTA, INC. to CONCRETE TRUTH LEARNING INSTITUTE.

It's currently broadcasting silence since yesterday.

I believe the new owners might be the same as KCPZ-LP 95.3, which is owned by CONCRETE TRUTH COMMUNITY NETWORK. That one's on the air with Christian Rap/Gospel. https://www.praise95fm.com/

KPPZ says they're making changes to programming and replacing equipment. They turned the audio off on purpose.
Still I find it odd they didn't turn off the transmitter too.

Still on with dead air. LOL if they won't turn off the transmitter that's still playing nothing at all that's their electric bill.

The electric bill for an LPFM is less than for your kitchen lights.

Really? Ah, okay.
I know this one is 100 watts, so I guess technically it's about the same as a single 100 watt light bulb.

It's still on the air with no programming, no legal ID either.

They turned back on the nonstop talk podcasts. The volume's a bit lower, and it sounds okay now.

It's back to a silent transmitter... For 3 or 4 days. If this station ever gets it together or loses it's license I'll update. Currently it's just someone's forgotten toy I'm bored with updating you all on.
