This morning I went on a Journey!

This morning I was listening to Journey 97.9! All your favorate songs and the best variety of Jam CHR jingles from the 80s and 90s, and nearly 60 minutes every hour, wow!

I heard someone blasting it from their car the other day, so yes people are listening.

I listen to it on the weekends. It's a great mix.

I listen to it on the weekends for the classic 90s Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 countdowns. Last week was from 1992. It was great listening to all of those hits from 20 years ago. A couple of weeks ago was from 1993 and number 10 was Silk's - "Freak Me Baby." Pushing the envelope for radio in 1993.

I wish they would also pick up AT40 The 80s.

Journey sure is a play by market format. The Gulf Coast Journey station in Pensacola/Mobile (heritage WJLQ-FM) switched over to news/talk this past week, Pensacola's first FM news talk station. (The Baldwin County/Mobile station doesn't reach everywhere in town ).

Journey in north Alabama (metro Huntsville) isn't tearing down the house either, and Cumulus may be considering switching their news talk FM from the weaker signal where it is now (92.5) to the stronger 93.3 where Journey resides.

I enjoyed Journey when I drove by on the Interstates.
