Hey Jamie, from the "Harvard on the Hill", here's a question for you.. 8) What's 99.1 in Whitefield / Littleton doing for a format ? Is it rebroadcasting, "The Point", or is it doing it's own thing ?
I know in the past that 99.3 (rock) comes in from Dartmouth in that area in and out but
I couldn't tell you right now for 99.1 since I am Jaming out to K-rock and Z100 on my walkman from NYC.. but when I get back up there in the overnight on Friday you gave me an excuse to dine out at the Olive or 99 I will try to get over that way. As for the TOS reception i forgot to check however I did get in on campus a bit but not too strong and I did not get to check it on my car because I got to play whatever I wanted too all evening saturday... Its like letting the whole NEK listen to what you like on your Ipod
I should stay up there through maybe Sunday or as late as monday and will post something if I get a chance

I was up there in that area a few weeks back, and 99.1 was running a Jack/Bob/Mike/MP103 type format as "Free 99.1." The voiceover guy is one of the ones that 93.7 Mike FM in Boston uses. It sounded like they were just running an IPOD, winamp, or something, because each song faded completely down to silence before the next liner or song started. If they are using Winamp, there are plugins for crossfading that they could use to make it sound a lot better.
