My Ubiquiti Power over Ethernet injector is no longer intermittent.
I sent this picture to my engineers and they said, “Do you feel better now?”
I said “Damn skippy”.
FYI, the PoE injector (basically a power supply) was acting erratically/causing the signal to drop a few times.. which means the PoE injector was dying. Swap in a spare PoE injector and all was well.
We had 2 different problems with two Ubiquiti radios.. one at location A reset itself to factory defaults twice in 2 das with no human orders to do so, which knocked it offline. And then on the 3rd day, the other one at location dropped offline a few times for no reason and after 90 minutes of futzing around with it, we decided to replace to PoE injector.. and viola, all was good again.
All 3 of our engineers said there is no reason for this to happen and they've never seen this many problems. One engineer says "I've had a tv signal-picture and audio running through one for 2 years 100% problem free"
