Where did they get this guy? Did Cheap Channel find someone that would do it for free just to hear his voice on the radio?

And the current morning newsreaders... Jenny Dean is bad, and John Conrad? Puke City! Ugh... hope those pushing for Martin Giles to retire got what they wanted. On his last day he was better than those two at their best.
 
Martin Giles was as good as radio news writing and presentation gets. But, then, Clear Channel doesn't seem to be interested in talent.

Yep, sad but true. Since Schnitt moved to 1250 live I've enjoyed hearing Harley Carnes on CBS Radio News. He's an excellent news reader. I miss that kind of talent on the local level.
