The whole thing starts with a swap meet (rain or shine) at 9 a.m., and then around 11 a.m., I'll be presenting a retrospective called "Bay Area Radio At 100: A Century Of Sound And Fury."
The entire event is being put on by the members of the California Historical Radio Society, and my presentation will feature some of my favorite audio clips, photographs and other memorabilia from the Bay Area Radio Museum, looking back on the origins of radio here a hundred years ago, and the medium's explosive growth in the Twenties, Thirties and Forties.
